Group or School Booking Deposit - 2025
Group or School Booking - $10 Deposit per bookingAbout this experience
- A non-refundable $10 deposit is required to reserve a group experience
- Within 3-5 working days of submitting your deposit, we will confirm your reservation via email and submit an invoice for the remaining cost of the program
- If you need to change your date, please get in touch with us at ljackson@mmbc.bc.ca as soon as you can (two week's notice is appreciated) and we can shift your deposit to another day
Group or School Experience Options (M=Museum, V=Virtual, O=Outreach):
- Self-Guided Visit (M) (60 minutes, all ages)
- Museum Tots (M/O) (45 minutes, ages 3-5)
- School Program
- Pollution Solutions (M/O) (60 minutes, ages 4-7)
- In Search of Equality (M/O) (90 minutes, Grades 4-6)
- Furs, Forts and Fervour (M/O/V) (90 minutes, Grades 4-6)
- Survival Skills on the Sea (M/O/V) (90 minutes, Grades 4-6)
- Craft Workshop
- Sea Glass Jewelry (M/O) (75 minutes, ages 10+)
- Sea Lanterns (M/O) (75 minutes, ages 10+)
For Museum Tots and School Programs, please note the following rates will be charged:
OPTION 1: In-Museum School Program (90 min)
• $150 for up to a maximum of 30 students
• 1 adult free per 5 students
• Includes the cost of admission and self-guided activities
OPTION 2: Museum Visit to Your Classroom (90 min)
• $200 for each class up to 30 students
• 10% off for one additional same-day class at the same location
OPTION 3: Virtual Field Trip (45 min)
• $100 per class up to 30 students
If you are not sure which experience would best suit your group's needs, please email ljackson@mmbc.bc.ca and include:
- How many people are in your group
- The age of the participants (e.g. children, youth, adults, seniors)
- A little bit about the needs or interests of your group
If you are interested in a day or time not listed on this calendar, please email ljackson@mmbc.bc.ca as we still may be able to accommodate your group.
Commitment to Access:
- Designated aides are always admitted for free. Please let us know how we can best support you in the registration booking notes.
- We partner with service-based organizations and schools to provide free access to our museum for underserved or marginalized communities. Please e-mail ljackson@mmbc.bc.ca to let us know more about your needs.
