Ever wondered what lies beyond the Staff Only doors at your favorite museums? Now’s your chance to take a peek! Join us at the Maritime Museum of BC for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look.

This intimate, small-group tour takes you into the museum's collections facility - home to 35,000 artefacts, 554 linear feet of archives, 15,000 photographs, and 8,500 reference books connected to BC's maritime history. Most of these are rarely seen in our public galleries.

Groups are kept small to allow for real conversation and close-up viewing.

A note about our tiered pricing:

We believe in making our collection accessible to as many people as possible, which is why we are offering a tiered pricing system. This approach allows you to choose a price that fits your current financial situation, ensuring that everyone can participate.

  Supporter Price: $25
  This tier is for those who can afford a little more. By choosing this price, you are helping to support others who may not have the same financial flexibility. Your generosity allows us to maintain a diverse and inclusive community.

  Standard Price: $20
  This is the standard price that reflects the fair market value of this tour. If you can comfortably afford this price, we encourage you to choose this tier.

  Reduced Price: $15
  This tier is available for those who may find the standard price a bit of a stretch. We want to make sure that financial constraints do not prevent anyone from participating in our tour.
  

No matter which you choose, your tier remains private and you will receive the same experience.

Participants should meet in the lobby of 4000 Seymour Place at 2:55 pm on the day of their booked tour. The tour will take place from 3:00 - 4:00pm.

Tours are limited to ten participants and must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
